Since my tube of Covergirl Lashblast Mascara was running out, I was debating on whether to order some more DiorShow or try something new. Well, I decided to try something new since my budget is a little tight right now. I came across the Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara while browsing the website and decided to give it a whirl. While I like the product, I don't *love* it. I do love the brush for applying the mascara, its bristles do an excellent job of seperating the lashes and not clumping the mascara. I also like how it lengthens my lashes as well. But it didn't seem to add much volume to them. Even with the Covergirl my lashes looked much thicker. I don't hate how my lashes look with this, so I will be satisfied until I run out and decide to try something else. :P Plus it doesn't flake very easily, even when I accidentally rub my eye. I would give this a 3 out of 5 stars.
However, I'm completely satisfied with the Sephora Smoothing Primer. I've tried the Smashbox Photofinish Primer before, and while this doesn't smell as good as that, it definitely has very similar results for half the price. My skin is so soft and matte after applying this product, sometimes I don't want to put foundation over it! It keeps my foundation "looking" fresh all day, i.e. it doesn't fade so that my uneven skintone is apparent and it keeps the shine at bay. Only 1 little pump is needed to cover the entire face and neck, so definitely big savings here. I would give this a 4 outta 5 stars. :)
Well, your eyes look lovely. Decent mascara. Thanks for the info on the primer- so good to hear it works like the Smashbox. I haven't tried many Sephora brand products but these
lookinteresting. I really want to try the new 'tricks of the trade' Sephora collection. Thanks
I love your posts, I recently bought Too Faced's LASH INJECTION in black and it rocks! I lost my Smashbox Bionic, which I really loved and went back and they were OUT! so I needed a quick lash
fix, it really goes on smooth, lenthens and separates with a regular nice thick want, i do NOT like those thin weird-ass wands. I do makeup and am an beauty industry professional so what I use
has to stay put and really work. Best mascara ive tried in a while! I would absolutely buy it again, It is similar to Benefits BigBad Lash- but more "professional"
