Tarte Eyeshadow Duo in "Kamalame Cay "

Sep29

Before Mascara

I took the pictures in two different lights, trying to see which looked best. Well, I couldn't decide, lol.

The flash makes them appear darker than they do in real life.

Can I just say I'm in love with this duo? I'm in love with it! They are so easily blendable, go on so smoothly [even over the UD primer] and stay put all day! They come in great pairs and I seriously want to own all of them. When you use them dry, the colors come off pretty sheer [with this duo at least, not sure about the others yet], but when used wet it is much bolder. I would also recommend these to someone who is just starting off learning to or experimenting with blending. I give these a 5 out of 5!

How I used it:
Weapons:
*Urban Decay Ammo Palette
*Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara
*Clinique Lash Building Primer
*Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion
*MAC Skinfinish in Lightscapade
*Benefit Georgia Peach
*Urban Decay Matte Eyeshadow in Yeyo
*Tarte Eyeshadow Duo in Kamalame Cay
*Benefit Mr. Frosty

I started off by applying the UD primer over my entire lid and lightly dabbing the Mr. Frosty over my brow bone. Next I used my eyeshadow brush to apply the UD Yeyo over my entire lid from lash line to crease. Using a crease brush, I applied the green from the palette starting in the middle of my eye and blending outward. Then I ran the crease brush over my entire crease, starting from my inner corner to the outer corner. I dusted off the crease brush[not on hands unless they are washed! I use a makeup cloth] and ran it through the blue color, which I then deposited on the outer corner of my eye. I then also ran the blue color on my bottom lash line, the outer 3/4ths. Did that make sense? I used my smudge brush and the color Oil Slick from the UD Palette to line the top of my eyes. A coat of lash building primer and two coats of mascara and I was finished with the eye. Since this is sort of a summery look, I went with Georgia Peach for a blush and applied the Lightscapade in a 'C' shape around the outer corner of my eyes and underneath. :)
